Looking back, Buggy is making the right call about going after the One Piece and defying Crocodile and Mihawk. With how the world is turning out and with three other Yonko on the move they need to take some action against them. If they just leave Blackbeard, Shanks, and/or Luffy alone and one of them gets the One Piece then that their Cross Guild may no longer matter in the long run depending on who gets it and how they change the world afterwards. Like Buggy said, they don't necessarily need to fight them head on and could simply outthink them in some way or another.

Buggy is right, make a move, do it smartly and outwit the other 3 crews . he's more motivated than crocodile is than finding the one piece and brazen in seeking a challenge than mohawk .
