That's an extremely valid question

Empty ruins: I have to try.
Empty CORE: No point trying.

I just realized something.

In the ruins, Chara wanted the player to not continue killing.

In Waterfall, Chara was getting used to it, and telling the player that there's no going back now, to not leave.

In the Core, where we are now, Chara is now encouraging the player to continue killing, not caring.

Well dang.

I love how the song shows that Frisk corrupted Chara to the point where Chara thinks the only reason they're alive again is because they have to kill monsters.

The contrast of the monotonous monsters with Chara's violence is startling.

Oh hey, it me! This sounds so much more creepy and mechanical with everyone singing in unison like that, along with Chara absolutely killing it (pun intended). And wow the art gives me chills. Brava everyone!

OMG i just realized at the end credits as the musical progresses less and less cast members are present! Since they are in hotland only Alphys, Sans, Mettaton, and Asgore remain! Damn that's a nice subtle detail!

On a serious note this was amazing! The VA for Chara is perfect once again and the chorus sounds just gorgeous, especially on the long notes. Good job!
