On the genocide run, papyrus's best friend and his brother are the only two bosses, they're both RIDICULOUS, and they both happen after you kill him.

Seriously though, even though it makes my tears run down my face, I love this. The slowed-down bonetrousle fits with this setting instead if the regular one. You should be proud of yourself.

Bonetrousle was the first song I got to do fully for art and I'm so happy everyone likes it so far! Thank you so much, though I have to say it was really sad drawing that list pic :') Papaya is my favorite cinnamon roll.

SonicPAJ's "My friend" at the end of the song is so filled with emotion, it makes me weep internally. Great job on the song guys!

I have to say, I really love the direction this whole thing is taking. Because I'm a sadistic meanie, I guess. The choice of a more minor key mix of Bonetrousle and the bit of Megalovania in the end are a STELLAR choice and the editing with Frisk moving closer to Papyrus and triggering the fight mixed with the art... it's just so well put together? The whole thing tells a perfect story, I feel like it would make sense even without the game context which is a good trait to have.

Sonic did a great job here! I do think I would have liked to have heard a few of his lines have that more characteristic Papyrus pep, especially the part where he offers the hug-- he strikes me as the sort to manage to pull that out even when just a weeee bit concerned for how things are going. But that's just my personal preference, it's very interesting to hear a more subdued Pap. The nervousness of "P-please stop looking at me like that, you're scaring me human" is great, I really love how it starts out sung and then it's like Papyrus is too nervous to even really keep up with his own music. The "open embrace" line kills me because it does genuinely sound like he's starting to smile but then nah.

But it's really the ending that nails it. That little "my friend", the way "I believe in you" fits the Megalovania motif. Megalovania is meant to be a song about a true megalomanic, but to me the song and particularly more minor key versions really encompasses the whole concept of "I believed in you" and the disappointment and bitterness that comes with it. Your friends and all the monsters have that small hope, and in this case, you destroyed it for no real reason. Megalovania in the end symbolizes that point where "do you think a person can change, if they really try" is proven not to be true, it's the point where there's no doubt you've taken that belief and ground it to dust. So the use of Megalovania in the context of lines about change and how Papyrus still believes in you, to me it means a lot.

The art here is really amazing. I love the way the first shot pans from Papyrus' nervous expression to the knife in Frisk's hand, that image alone makes my stomach drop and I'm actually not easily swayed by this stuff. Papyrus' worried expression in the first two shots are great, but it's that tearful smile in the last one that kills me. I also love the choice to have Frisk's hair billowing wildly, it gives such a great impression of them being reduced to some kind of mindless, demonic killer. The details of wisps of hair, the lighting, the little white highlights... ah it's so good. Bizarrely one thing I really love is the highlights on the gold parts of Papyrus' armor and the little hint of red glow from the slash? It just looks so good.

So yes, overall, amazing job, I'm excited to see more!

Papy no! That was beautiful though, the Megalovania bit at the end was a really nice touch. I also loved how the human looked in the art, with their scraggly hair looking all unkempt

Sounds like whoever did the voice for Papyrus made an improvement from when they did Playing the Game.

I also think the switch to the subtle Megalovania melody when Papyrus gets killed is a nice touch.
