Wow. A complete 180 from the original "Battle Against A True Hero". The first a triumphant shout and then... This. This is, to me, Undyne saying to herself: "This is it. I ultimately let them down, but they know I did everything in my power to win. I can go in peace, knowing that Alphys will evacuate the others, doing what I probably should've been doing, but couldn't."

This is the first song I recorded a demo track for for the musical, all the way back in February of this year. Crazy to see how far it's come.

I think I choked up a little.

"Though my heart wants to fight free; I can't help falling to my knees."

That line moves me. She tried with all of her power, all of her soul, all of her determination, for something that cannot be surpassed in importance, but it still wasn't enough...

My heart has been shattered yet again by an Undertale Genocide song. The lyrics, the slowed down music, the emotion... AAAH IT WAS ALL SO BEAUTIFULLY TRAGIC T^T Honestly, there are so many feels swirling inside me right now, I don't even know how to handle them. My heart bleeds at our benevolent fish hero's falling. However, although Undyne's death was saddening beyond description, and tears totally ran down my face when I saw her disappear at the end, I personally believe that one of the most tragic things was this:

*Monster Kid was watching the battle*

This poor, innocent child witnessed his hero get murdered right in front of him... I don't know why I never realized that until I saw the art in this video... guess I was just being ignorant to it until today. But, speaking of the art... OMQ DONNA DID AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE JOB WITH IT HOLY HECK I LOVE IT SO MUCH <3 The amazing style choice, the coloring... everything was beautifully drawn!!! You can clearly tell how much effort was put into each work- well done!!! :)

As for singing... OH MY HECKING GOODNESS CELLO YOU ARE SO FREAKING TALENTED AND YOUR VOICE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND PLEASING TO LISTEN TO AND JUST I LOVED THIS SO MUCH <3 <3 <3 You always pour so much emotion into your vocal work, and this one was certainly no exception!!! With every note and lyric sung, you could hear the sorrow and pain within your character. Honest to Fox, tears were falling down my face by the end. I know I've said this before, but it truly is a grift to be able to bring such strong emotions to your audience- especially when you do it in under two minutes!!! You're amazing, Cello. Please, never forget that :'3

Between the incredibly well written lyrics, the stunning artwork, gorgeous vocals, and wonderful mixing and editing, I adored every second of this song :') This is definitely in my top five favorite songs from the soundtrack so far!!! Every single member of this team is talented beyond description, and I hope you all never forget how incredible you are <3

I had the feeling there would be another song for undyn Because it was supposed to be a 17th song between "battle a gainst a true hero" and "alphys" and undyn the undying didn't Disappeared at the end of the 16th song.

undyn was really a true hero and she died like a true hero you really showed it that was beautiful.

Well, get in the car. We're heading to Tear Town! Okay, I didn't cry. I feel bad for Monster Kid. He has to watch his role model die in front of him, and he just watches in terror. And when Flowey appears, I get the feeling: "Are you happy with yourself, Frisk?". Cellochicita did a really good job with this.
