A lot of the time people say before they start the riddle, can you solve this riddle
And because the riddle is impossible they just say "no" meaning that they can't answer the riddle
Harvard students would try and find a smart answer but kindergarten students just give up instantly and say no

You said the riddle wrong, thats why nobody can solve it.

Here‘s how it actually goes and what the answer is:



At the very end the person saying the riddle is supposed to say

‚Can you solve this riddle?‘

That sentence is sneakily also part of the riddle. Everything that was said before that was gibberish and there is no rational answer.

Kindergartners get the riddle right because they simply answer ‚No I can‘t‘ while Harvard students search for a rational solution that doesn‘t exist.
