Most of my videos are happy and fun but sometimes I have the opposite experience! Hope you’re okay with me sharing the harsh reality sometimes! 🙏🏼

What you did was like booking a hotel in the Bronx and then telling people to avoid New York because it’s criminal

as a Frankfurt resident myself, I can easily live apart from these areas. There are so beautiful places in Frankfurt, especially in the west and north. It's real sad that the train station which is the first stop of so many people is so disturbing

this is literally the average city in america

I’m from the UK and have been living and working in Frankfurt for 5 months now. Whilst what you say about the train station is 100% accurate, all you need to do is no go within that area and it’s a beautiful place. Lots to see, great food and beer, there’s food and drink festivals and markets most weekends. Don’t let this guy spoil the chance of you visiting Frankfurt, it’s a wonderful city

It's seriously annoying when people think Frankfurt is just that part. Their are many pretty Parts Like the main river, they also have dunes from the ice age. Many cool museums like the historic museum, Liebig museum and etc. The old city of Frankfurt.
The old Opera.

Okay, as someone who was born and raised in Frankfurt I have to clarify some things: Frankfurt is a lovely city with lots of historic sights. The Bahnhofsviertel got a lot better in the last two decades. People with drug addiction have rooms where they can consume their stuff safely. Munichs drug problem is probably worse than Frankfurt and also there are cities like Duisburg or Gelsenkirchen that look definitely WORSE

You went to the wrong area... The Bahnhofsviertel is the worst area to go, the rest of the city is really nice and has a lot to offer.

Taking into consideration that Frankfurt am Main has just about the same crime index of 46.1 as one of the safest cities in the US, Burlington (43.3), i really would not worry too much as an american visitor.

How did you like the historic old town? Did you enjoy old Sachsenhausen? Did you have the opportunity to visit the Licht- und Luftbad? How do you like the Grüngürtel („Green belt“) in the city? Did you enjoy the Palmgarden and how did you like Bornheim? Did you stroll through the Schwanheimer Dünen (the dune landscape ) and take the ferry to Hoechst? Did you like the Bolongaro Palace? I hope you liked the walk along the Main river? Or did you even walk the way next to Nidda river? Wasn’t it great to do so crossing the city without seeing much of the traffic? Did you enjoy the huge variety of interesting museums?

Sorry, while Frankfurt isn’t Germany's most attractive city, this is a clueless tourist completely failing to visit the interesting parts of the city.

Staying for a layover and telling people there isnt much to see is insane

Thank you for sharing your story with us. And I hope that in the future no one like you will visit my city. Your ability to get into shit while traveling shows how little experience you have when it comes to getting useful information for a city trip.

Every city has a bad neighborhood and yes, Frankfurt's problem neighborhood may be a little worse than others. However the big difference is that in Frankfurt this district is located very close to the city center and therefore many tourists accidentally stay in this district. This could be avoided with a little research. I mean, you wouldn't book a hotel in the favelas in Rio de Janero or in the Bronx in NYC, right?

You were just a single google search away from having a whole different experience in Frankfurt. Sad.

While the Frankfurt Train Station area is infamous even within Germany, there is one rule to follow when booking a trip in Germany: never stay close to the train stations. These areas are always the hotspots for criminality and drug abuse.

Went to Frankfurt for the euros. It was fantastic. A much better city than I thought it was going to be and none of what was on this recording.

Everyone in Germany knows that you shouldn't spend time in the railway station district. Have you done anything at all in the city?
There are some very good museums and the Main Promenade

"I wish everyone in the street got the help they need"
Walks by homeless people not bothering him
"I genuinely felt unsafe"

This is probably the best example of the mindset that prevents homeless people from getting genuine help
