How to Disable or Enable Windows Defender in Windows 10

Disable windows defender Windows 10 permanently.

To disable Windows Defender:

Set-MpPreference -DisableRealtimeMonitoring $true

To enable Window Defender:

i tryed to turn it back on and its not letting me i need help and it has red error messages and im very nervous and i downloaded a file and it gave viruses and when i go to settings it kept kicking me out and when i went to windows defender to turn it on it said Your Virus and treath protection is managed by your by your organization and theres really wierd ads playing in the backround with out google chrome pls help me :C

With windows update I get this error - Error 0x80070643, I cannot enable to turn on the protection since the update

Anybody who knows how to un-snooze a different antivirus software on Windows? I have Kaspersky Antivirus installed on my PC. I had no problems in the last 2 months. However, when I tried to open Kaspersky today, the pointer merely "loads" and does not actually open the software. I've checked Windows Security and (to my surprise) Kaspersky had been snoozed — the default Windows Defender being the one active. I've heard that Microsoft does this as a move for patronage. But I would actually prefer Kaspersky over it. Anyone who could help me figure out and solve the problem? Thanks. A lot.
