Tech billionaire Elon Musk is planning a live online discussion next week with the candidate for chancellor of the far-right Alternative for Germany party, Alice Weidel.

The chat is expected to take place on Musk's platform X. It is his latest endorsement of the AfD ahead of Germany's general election on February 23rd. Last weekend, Musk caused outrage when he described the far-right party as the country's "last spark of hope" in an opinion piece in a German newspaper. Political leaders in Germany have accused him of election interference, considering his close relationship with US President-elect Donald Trump.

What does a Billionaire who has everything want? Power, then more power...

Why Elon intervenes in politics? It is actually a very easy question. To gain more power and money. Specially more power.

The Brazilian justice system has already given a lesson on how to treat Elon Musk for interfering in the country's internal politics and for disrespecting Brazilian laws: suspension of activities and high fines. This is the language that Elon Musk understands. And that's all that stops me

Just imagine a russian doing this? Bet you election middling, undermining our democracy, and sanctions will follow. But here is American trying to help a far right party 🎉. And everyone are keeping quiet

It’s like the system is so rotten it should be torn down a rebuilt

I would also advocate an economic democracy and a wealth cap

This system is not sustainable and the elites are out of control

One thing is certain. Drug addicts and alcoholics must be prevented from deciding how a country should be governed.

Election meddling. Expressing support for a political party on social media is election meddling is it?

If you speak about far right people legal elected by the citizens you must be far left.
It is a new Era and a new time to wake up and drain the swamp from this old system controlled by huge not corrupt, but corrupted minds.

If the political system wasn’t corrupted in the first place this would have no impact, but it is. Just look at the European Parliament, suitcases of cash being exchanged for political advocacy.

Dear Conservatives:

The reason why we are concerned is because Elon Musk is a billionaire, owns Twitter and thus automatically has alot of influence.

he didn't answer the interviewer question "what would must would gain from someone AFD which is even aganist electric vehicle hence going aganist MUSk business interest why would must form an allicance with them"

Must doesn't gain anything business wise by supporting AFD I think it's just his opinion and he isn't shy to give his piece. (and I disagree with opinion)

The problem with Germany is if Elon supports the far Left you would call it an endorsement and when he supports the right you call it an interference.

Not far right but right of the other far left parties. In fact in the middle.

The billionaire has international interests. So he is doing just that. Covering his economic interests. That the administrative bodies in the world are not aligned, or capable to wield that kind of economic power is what the status quo is. This is the battle that is shaping the coming decades. The shift of who wields the economic reigns. China is still capable to reign in companies like AliBaba and billionaires like Jack Ma. That is part of the same economic battle. The USA on the other hand has let the reigns of economic power go free. Hence the government funded billionaires.
