Here’s what goes behind a great film - some hard-work, sleepless nights, and dedication. This has been one of the most challenging project for us. Watch the video and find out how we managed to make this piece possible.

I'm so happy that proceeds from this film are being divided equally among all the Sherpas.

@19:40 ''Not going to destroys team moral and trust quicker than hiding the goal or purpose of what you're trying to achieve from the very people you are relying on. Incredible moment right there.

The photography and videography in this documentary is stunning—5 stars. It is by far the best photo/video that has been done of Everest yet.

Mallory and Irvine have been my heroes (along with Shackleton) ever since I was a little girl. I had two grown up brothers that would tell their stories to me and I’ve been fascinated by them ever since. George Mallory didn’t have his wife’s photo on him when he was found all those years later, it must still be on the top of Everest 🤞🤞 🤞 🤞 🤞

“The earths highest dump, just below its highest graveyard”… that should be the official Mt Everest bumper sticker

National Geographic photographers are in a class of their own!!! Their dedication to showing us the intricacies, oddities, creatures and peoples of this Earth is beyond my advanced degree education...awesome individuals!! Thank you for showing us your personal story...very much appreciated!!

Looks incredible seeing the lines of light heading up the mountain in the starlight. Almost like an ancient dragon winding up the mountain.

On the edge of my seat listening with such intent wonderfully done 👏 The elder Sherpa said “climbing is greed” those are some intense true words

That opening shot of Everest is majestic. That will suffice for me.

An incredible film and an incredible behind the scenes. I've already watched the main feature several times and suspect several more viewings are in the near future. Well done to all involved.

Was amazing up to the point where you disrepsected the sherpas advice.

Thank you. Fifteen years on, your film took me right back there, every rock formation, every footstep, every memory, indelibly printed. The eternal moral dilemma that being there destroys the reason you are there. Remote, isolated, beauty. Thank you Chomolungma, for letting me walk in the footsteps of those who went before. Well done to you and your team.

The portrait photos of the himalayan people are so beautiful, full of spirit, almost showing their souls - very, very beautiful. Thank you for this honest and touching, yet very beautiful movie.

I just realized that this is the same person responsible for the most moving documentaries I have ever seen. Now I have a third one to add to my top list. Wow. Just wow. Thank you.

This was impressive that people and cameras work in those conditions and altitudes.
