Fun fact that is actually creepy and not fun: there is a theory about the catacombs called the whispering walls the myth says you should never go in the catacombs after midnight for the walls will start whispering and telling you to go further into the catacombs until your lost with no food or water and you are left to freeze to death or die from thirst

My brain simply cannot fathom that the catacombs span over 180 miles. It is horrifying to know that not every inch has been mapped out too! Places people have never been... Or at least havent come back from.

The guide to us on a 3 hour tour deep inside their entering certain parts people are not supposed to go. Quite a freaky experience indeed.
