And elderly fried always said " The best help you can get is at the end of your arm"...she was from a large family if 14 children and knew how to work and save...I too am from a large family of 14 children. My mom was a very hard working woman who canned everything she could get her hands on and we never did with out a meal! I am so blessed and have wonderful memories of my mom and dad and what hard working parent's we had! I appericate them! They taught us to love the Lord our fellowman and work hard! I am blessed!!

Thank you for info on carmelizing onions in crockpot. Never thought of that. I have always done this on stovetop, requires lots of stirring. This will be timesaver for me. You have such good hints, God bless you and your goodness.

Thank you thank you thank I have dehydrated onions (on an excalibur, which I really like alot) for years and never considered caramelizing them first. I think this will be a game
