Thank you so much for this..right off the bat I'd copies someone elses settings from another video... could have been a disasterous mistake. I hadn't tried the video with my editor (davinvi resolve) - and guess what, after watching this I found that it didnt recognise the top setting, so filmed at the second one, and it immediately recognised the file format.Thank YOU!!! I'd have filmed my whole holiday and then struggled to edit it without that awesome bit of advice. Also, thank you for the frame rate explaination. Did not realise that if I filmed indoors at night with a light bulb going, that the fps wouldn't have matched either! (I am in the UK) Lifesaver video. perfectly spoken for newbies and 'dummies' like me! THANK YOU!!!

Hey there! Thanks for the video and the setting explanations! However I don't know to to fix an issue I'm experiencing... My Osmo Action 4 won't let me change the codec from HEVC to H.264 In other words, I see the option in the camera, but won't let me click on it. How can I resolve this?

Thanks about your explane, I want ask. Why HFVC option also the video's file is large like 5 gbt, 10gbt and 15gbt sometimes much more

My personal tip: Use HEVC for video compression and batch convert the files later with vlc media player. Works really well and minimized storage usage while keeping good quality
