Conecuh sausage is incredible. Definitely one of Alabama’s best items.

Oh man. I wish I could go to all these restaurants and try all this. This show is such a nice break from Kitchen Nightmares, so I don't have to hear Gordon swearing all the time.
4:20 mmm delicious sounding steamed clams

This show is morphing into a showcase for high-end restaurants, not diners, drive-ins, and dives. The price point for this restaurant, especially a neighborhood restaurant in a southern town, is quite high. Pork chop is $40. Crab cake is $42.

Wow. My mouth has been taken to a place no human could exist in. Flavors so intense, my senses turn all matter to pure energy.

This dude eats in more restaurants in Mobile than I do. And I live here. I don't think I'd ever eat there - too far out of my traffic pattern, and no doubt, the cost of that food would be more than I'd want to pay.

Been in this business all my life. This dude would kick my a$$ in a 1 on 1. Really impressive looking food. That said, you can't cook this kind of food in a kitchen that size, with a dining room that size, unless you're gouging the customer on the price of food and/or drinks. Someone with this level of skill easily draws a 6 figure income. And that dining room was TINY. Impressive food, but you better come correct with your wallet.

food network really should be grateful that they still have Guy. They still have a small handful of good stars but most of their content now is total crap with sad excuses for that they call

Anyone that thinks grits needs to be sweet shouldn't be allowed near a kitchen! I think grits are best savory!

I was just watching a docu about how he doesn't even like most of the food on this channel and still just promotes it and admits to it.

That creole rabbit dish is $32 and they have a 100 dollar ribeye steak. “Homemade food but not too stuffy about it” what?
