This is the food Keith Lee needed to try when he was in Atlanta. This is the real deal right here. Also, loved the fact that she said everyone has their own soul food. So true

I think make a five hour trip for the collard green rolls. It looks so wrong it’s got to be right! Wow!!

I worked at Twisted Soul for a few years. I learned a lot from chef Deborah. She taught me how to make phenomenal collard greens.

Soul food is what we call Casero cooking. It just means a home style.

I grew up having a Chef as a father and got to go to some of the fanciest restaurants because of it…. And to this day I prefer home cooking over rich people food.

In this video I was introduced to Southern food when I was stationed in Korea then in Georgia at FORT GORDON AGUSTA GEORGIA but when I was there I went to Atlanta and we went to a place called the underground with many different shops and restaurants and we went to a place called DANTES and I really enjoyed myself but in AGUSTA there really is no place to go so I stayed on base but I enjoy Southern food except chattering because they stink up the kitchen can't stand the stuff other than that it's good food but the only place that you can find good Southern food is in HARLEM near 125th street not many but very reasonable quality and prices as it won't break the bank and along the way I picked up some tricks making Southern food as Southern food is not hard to make you just have to understand it like ham hocks pig's feet fried chicken BBQ ribs both pork and beef and the beef ribs are called PRIME BACK RIBS which come off Prime Ribs otherwise known as RIBEYE STEAK which is better than a NEW YORK STRIP STEAK but you have your T bone Porterhouse and Sirloin bone in but Southern folks can cook up a storm as I am from Honolulu Hawaii and we know nothing about Southern food except if you are in the military as I know where all the bases are as I was in the ARMY many years ago but home is home
