OMG Mads I love you so much, BUT The Cruel Prince is so good. And in my opinion it IS a political fantasy, but it is also an enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance. The first book I can understand being a little difficult to get through but once you get to the 2nd book you will fall in love with the series. I love Holly Blacks writing style and I love the over-all plot. The Cruel Prince got me into my love of fantasy-romance books. I hope you can push through on your third try, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the series!!! <3

This has just completely convinced me, and has made me 100% certain that I MUST purchase your book! The only reason I hadn’t was because I’m very new to fantasy so it can be quite daunting, I’m a romance girly through and through ! The thing about how you talked about powerless I kinda felt that when I read twisted games I wanted to like it but I couldn't connect to it as others did and I tried and tried to like it but I just really could not say that Anna Huang is a bad writer because she is a really good writer but that book just didn't do it for me.
