Interesting. In my harmony 1 class we were only told to avoid parallel 5ths and 8ves, so technically these would still pass the 8 AM final

Oh! The Paper Mario track for Tubba Blubba's battle theme does this I think. I remember trying to learn how to play it and having trouble wrapping my head around it because of that

another scene that I can’t help but love, even though it doesn’t really include entertaining dancing to pop music, is Harley Quinn’s escape/soldier massacre scene in The Suicide Squad (I mean the new one). The choreography isn’t cringey or played for pop culture, and none of Harley’s moves feel exaggerated or unnecessary; in fact, some of her moves feel poetic and graceful. And ironically, instead of a popular pop song, an old jazz song “Just a Gigalo” plays—while not a popular song, it easily becomes a classic just by listening to it once while being a very upbeat and bouncy song that contrasts against the violent, gory scenes where Harley is just murdering prison guards left and right while being so smooth, beautiful and absolutely entrancing while doing so. My favorite part would have to where she begins to spin in her dress, flowing poetically while she’s dueling two glocks and popping caps in the prison guards all around her.
Again, I know it’s not a dance scene with pop music, but that scene feels very similar to Deadpool’s dance scene because they’re both engaged in a horrific, bloody battle against a crowd of their enemies while being wonderfully syncopated with the upbeat music that plays over it all. All She-Hulk did was try to act goofy and cater to pop culture whilst ridiculously contrasting against their overall attempts at trying to be taken seriously

"Exactly 4 steps apart" That makes it sound like you're talking about major 3rds. You mean diatonic steps of course but threw me off at first

The perfect fourth vocal harmony is what really got me into Alice in Chains as a younger man, such a cool sound that goes against everything we were taught in theory and composition.

Both of the songs are by Dodga Caatee. That’s what they have in common.

hey whenever i see your shorts it's always hard to hear you, I think that's a real shame for a music channel. please compress and increase the volume while editing. one tip is to put a different short in your editor and see how high the db value peak, and set your value to somewhere close to that AFTER compression is done.

I feel like it was an attempt to give her that jap girl vibe as fourths provide a pentatonic coloring
