Hey man, just wanted to stop by and say "THANK YOU!". I've had this internet for a week now and it has been way better than what I used to have. I had AT&T DSL 12 mbps down and .89 up. I had even considered getting a MOFI router and a Verizon SIM but that was a lot of money. This was definitely a cheaper and better option. My average speeds with T-Mobile ISP have been 30 mbps down and 5 mbps up. On a good day 43 mbps down and 14 mbps up. I live in NC and I didn't need an invitation. Thanks again!

I'm on my second week with this device. Comcast in my area is horrible. It's impossible to work from home because my conferences keep dropping. My neighbors complain about the same. Had Comcast out and they upgraded some of the wiring in my home, and 10 minutes after they technician left I started seeing issues again. So far, I'm seeing great results with the T-Mobile box. I'm getting about 60 Mbs down and almost 5 Mbs up. Upload speeds aren't great, but I can live with them. The biggest improvement over Comcast is consistency. I can join a video conference at work and not worry about the connection dropping. My neighbors are on the edge of their seats waiting for my reports. They're ready to switch as well. Yesterday my next door neighbor told me that her video conference dropped IN THE MIDDLE OF HER PERFOMANCE REVIEW!!! I guarantee that I won't be the only one in my neighborhood to switch to T-Mobile home. In the next few weeks I'm going to plug my mesh wireless system into the T-Mobile router and see how well it works as my only ISP. If I'm happy with the results then I'll be saying bye bye to Comcast for good! So glad we're finally starting to see competition in the home ISP market. If Comcast gave a bag of beans about us and actually did something about the issues plaguing our neighborhood I might not go this route, but they don't seem to give a damn about us as long as they get their $50.00 a month. Well guess what, Comcast... there's competition now. Take a hike!!!!

I had this for several months and loved it. The server isn't without its quirks but those bits are being worked on. I only cancelled because I relocated and didn't need it anymore as the reason I got it no longer existed. I would consistently get about 100mbits or so at my location. A friend of mine ran several tests that exceeded 250mbit with the same modem.

I've got AT & T DSL, but since I'm 8, 000 feet from the DSL hub, I can only get 3mbs upload speed. I had an AT & T tech tell me they don't make parts for the DSL hubs any longer, they're scavenging parts from the ones they're decommissioning, once they're gone, they'll have to shut them all down. The area I live in probably won't see fiber or 5G for years, the T-Mobile setup seems like the best choice for me. Thanks for the video.

I've had it about 3 weeks. Very pleased. I also setup my old router as an access point through an ethernet cable. The access point is in the center of the house and modem is by a window. Great coverage throughout the house on wi-fi. Another bonus is I can connect my TV and anything else I want to the access point with a cable in that room. Best setup I've ever had. Disconnected my slug DSL. T-Mobile loans you the modem so there is no additional equipment charges. Hard to beat.

Speed was fine. If you need NAT/Port forwarding for anything don't bother. I was on hold for 3.5 hours then spoke to a "tech" that didn't know what "port forwarding" was. It's going back to T-mobile as soon as I get the return tag. If you don't need any NAT services, this is probably a good option.

I have been a T-mobile customer for over 10 years. I thought the T-mobile home internet would be a great idea and work perfectly, however when I ran into issues I messaged them on their customer support using my T-mobile app and was told that I needed to call the home internet direct customer service number because its different departments. No problem I said and went and did that. I waited on this line for hours trying to get help without ever talking to anyone. I tried calling back a few other times just to make sure a call did not get hanged up. If you are interested in just how frustrating this is go search "Worlds longest wait time for home internet support? Called about my home internet and screenshots show my progress or lack there of" on google. It will be the first result you see from T-mobiles own website. constant progress on what happens will be uploaded there and currently its been 3 hours and 27 mins on hold without talking to anyone.

I ended up returning mine. The gateway would consistently get bumped to a more distant cell tower after about 1 hour of constant streaming from a doorbell cam. Speeds would drastically drop from 110/50 mbps to 10/2 mbps down/up -- essentially artificial throttling the connection. I was told to have the gateway locked to the nearest tower was considered a "feature request". After about 3 months of testing with the same results, I made the decision to return it.

Just became available in my area as well, I ordered last Friday and I cannot wait!!!! I’d been with dish network for years they were charging me $181 a month for television and 30 GB of data. When they threatened to raise my bill to $221 a month!!! I dropped them and I’ve been on the search for viable alternative every sense. I am ecstatic!!! I CANT WAIT

Hey Wolfzoid, I want to thank you for your videos on this box. I did get my box a few weeks ago. Used it inside house with a cellular booster but only getting 6mbit/1.5mbit. This weekend tried outside, 150ft from house I can get 15-20mbit down/10mbit up. that was just too impractical to even get power to never mind running ethernet cable or dealing with Wi-Fi signal. Found a spot 25 ft from the house and I have it in a plastic ammo can on a pole 16 ft in the air with power and then able to run a tp-link repeater from the garage to get signal in the house. About 15mbit down and 4mbit up. Still debating if I should return it to T-Mobile, but I'm in such a miserable location for cellular coverage.

Thanks so much for this review. I live in a rural area and fed up with my lack of internet service. I have internet through a company called Zeta Broadband. Right now at 10:00 PM on a Tuesday i have a DL of 1.64 and an UL of 1.97 with the ping at 49. I am hoping this will be a vast improvement. TM does offer 4G in my area currently. Just doing my research and appreciate the review.

Please do another video where you connect this thing to a router and run everything off your own router, to see if it works well. Thanks. 🤓

Thanks for the review. I'm on a 75 mb plan on comcast. It's never more than 30 mb down and 5 or 6 mb up. It sucks. T-mobile support (phone) told me about this home internet today. My home is approved for service. I signed up today. Can't wait. I consistently get between 100 and 200 meg download and between 40 and 60 meg upload through t-mobile on my phone. I'm about 1/4 mile from the tower and the service is really good in my home. I have a really good Asus router that I'll use which covers my entire home well. So glad I called t-mobile support today. I had no idea this was being offered.

When you went through tower settings, it showed band 66, that isn't available in alot of rural areas like were I live, only band 25 and 26. Bands 25 & 26 can't even come close to band 66

I am paying 92 per month for Xfinity 250gb download vs my dad is paying 72 for AT&T Gigabit service in Houston. I live in the Bay Area and would love to find another provider but I am no sold on LTE service yet.

I had Spectrum and switched to TMobile home internet. Was getting on average 90/30 with it but after 3 months of using it I did notice a big slow down to like 5 or 10 down. I thought it must be me but it would speed up again in off hours so I knew I was being deprioritized big time but I was using 300 to 500 gigs a month because I also have streaming cable and security cams running which TMobile even says it's not to be used for. I ended up going back to Spectrum as they offered me 400/20 internet only for $30 a month locked in price for 2 years. I would definitely say the 4G TMobile home internet is good but definitely doesn't compare to cable internet at least for me but if it's a choice you aren't locked in so might want to give it a try if it can save money and or limited choice where you live.
