These were great tips. My last 3 years I’ve read 40, 51, and 55 in 2019 and I really couldn’t explain how, since I do still watch a lot of YouTube. But you made a great point. When I listen to audio books I’m always on 1.25 speed. I’ve even hit 1.5 speed for certain books. It’s to the point that if a book is on normal speed it sounds like it’s dragging. I also have a dog, so I’m listening whenever I’m walking outside and also driving. I read on my phone if I’m forced to wait somewhere, even for just a few minutes. Even a few minutes in the grocery line really does all add up.

My goal is to read at least 20books this year, I just got back into reading and already have a huge TBR section lol so I want to go through that.

I’m definitely looking into audiobooks now bc I have a long commute to work and that’ll be a nice way to pass the time

Thank you for this video. 2019 was my worst reading year ever. I usually read a lot but idk what happened. I’ll have to try to dedicate more time or plan certain weeks to read.
I listen to my audiobooks at 1 speed but read while I’m listening and if I’m ahead. I love to listen to what I’ve already read.

I love Audiobooks but I tend to put the speed on 1.2 or 1.5. It depends on the narration of the book too.

Do you use an ereader? I have found I can get through large books in almost half the time with an ereader. It’s mental. I think because big books are less intimidating on an ereader so you’re more likely to pick them up.
