hi jack, I just wanted to let you know that if you renamed the video to something like 'A-Level Maths: H5-16 Further Integration: Integration by substitution' instead of what it is currently called, you would most likely get a lot more views on your video because more students would be searching for that rather than specific examples. Just wanted to let you know as I really appreciate the time and effort that you put into your videos so you deserve to be getting as much ad revenue as possible from it

hi sir, would we have to do this for regular maths too (not further)?

You can do reverse chain rule by splitting the left bracket to (2x+7-12) and expanding it by making it (2x+7)^9 - 12(2x+7)^8. Would this work with other integrals in this form too?

Is integration by substitution the only way to do this question, or can you do the reverse chain rule?

what would you do if you had to find the integral of (2x-5)^8 (2x+7)^8

Nice to know I actually managed to reason my way through this, only to then forget the existence of the 1/2 and c terms lol
