Sir I am a bit confused between integration by substitution and reversing the chain rule, can both of these methods be used to solve the same problem or are there specific problems where we have to use integration by substitution and specific types.of questions where.we.have to use reversing the chain rule.

am i beung stupid or on number 4 shouldnt it be -27/8 because its 9 x -3 and 4 x 2?

So I wasted all this time learning the reverse chain rule when this is much easier 😭😭

on question 3 why is it -1/3? wont it be -1/2 x 3/2 which is -3/4?
