I will never and have never accepted money to do a review. Occasionally, I get sent a product for free to review, which is done at the company's own peril. Sometimes I like their product, but sometimes I will give it a big thumbs down. Sometimes I use affiliate links, which will be clearly marked. I make a small pittance of a commission when you use said links to purchase the item in question. While I enjoy making YouTube videos and interacting with the viewers, to justify the insane amount of hours I spend planning, filming, editing, uploading, researching, answering comments on YT, answering comments on FB, responding to tweets and emails, I need to make a small bit of money. Otherwise, I'm not someone with a part-time job, I'm an obsessive compulsive beauty/computer freak who has become a bit of a shut-in.

I felt it to be gratifying to shave my face on YT, I thought it necessary to share ..So many women are afraid to do it...thinking their hair will grow back thicker...it does not! It is a fabulous anti ager...helping to not only remove the hair but exfoliate the skin...It really made me feel good to share with all of my subscribers....Many thought it was courageous...for me it was just a part of being a woman....SO MANY women have been closet shavers...TIME to COME OUT...:)) Bravo for YOU!

I actually end up doing both, for the closest shave. But generally, don't you shave your legs against the grain?

Thanks for willingness to be humble & real enough to shave your face!!! Amazon Tinkle razors arrived today, I viewed your tutorial for a refresher and armed with confidence I shaved my face. Gotta say, my face feels just like I left the spa, but without the expense.

yes i agree. practice and be careful. i shaved two days before my wedding and i cut myself near my jaw. it was a very thin line that healed very quickly. i also used a razor that with more rectangular and did not have the rounded guard. (thank you for pointing that out to people). i had purchased the tinkle razors but the shipper i used from amazon took forever and they didn't come in time for the wedding. will use them today.

I believe I addressed that toward the end of the video. Basically, use it the same amount of time you would use on your legs. If it gets dull, use a new one.

It's so wonderful that so many women are starting to talk openly about doing this! I, like you, have been using my boyfriend's razor, but after seeing so many women on YouTube talk about these blades, I'm very excited to try them. I also have pretty dry skin, so am hoping this will also help with exfoliating some of the flakier areas. Thanks again. This was very informative.

I do the same - removes all the peach fuzz without problem and makes foundation look better, as you say. I use La Roche Posay Effaclar K daily to make sure I don't get any spots in the shaved areas and it works wonderfully.

I do that on my arms, too!! Actually, I just use the same razor in the shower that I use on my legs, and my arms are baby soft!

ok Marnie, you've convinced me. I ordered mine from Amazon and they should be here any day now. I hit menopause and the hair on my upper lip is getting more noticeable. So I'm gonna use Tinkle and get rid of it!! I was worried about it growing in more noticeable but then realized my mom does it all the time and it looks great!

Just wanted to add...When you said, "Caroline Manzo shaves her face." I thought, Yes! That's what I've been saying over and over in my head since you mentioned you shaved your face in one of your previous videos! I remember Caroline Manzo saying she did it, and loved that you mentioned her. I truly enjoy your videos. Love your honesty and style!

I always did my chin and upper lip, didn't start the whole face till Carolyn Manzo said she did her whole face either. I love it. I shave a couple times a week. All the areas you catch. Makeup really is so much smoother and it is a great exfoliator.

You look beautiful without makeup! I'm going to need to try this brand. I've been using the smaller ones...and I'm so glad that you (and other YT'ers) have been posting. I've also been using the battery operated shapers for years for my face.

Hey rewatched for a refresher course. I was taking the blade downward and it wasn't leaving as smooth of a surface. Trying the upward direction to compare. Mimi cracks me up! She's wondering if she needs to shave her face lol!! Thanks!!!

Yes ive been tweezering my little hairs on my chin for years now... Started noticing them at 37 years old... (Im currently 40)

I might try those razors but still nervous about shaving my whole face. Saw them at a cheapy asian shop in the local mall. Only $2 for a pck of three... I think that was the brand too!
