Born too early to explore the Universe, born too late to explore the world. But born at the perfect time to explore calculus 3 with Professor Leonard.

Einstein said if you couldn't explain something clearly, you didn't really understand it.

You sir are a brilliant teacher. And you make the world a more educated place.

I get it now why Professor's lectures are so effective and why people really understand them. For example, a lecture is 3 Hours Long. He would spend 1 Hour 'Defining things', 1 Hour 'Doing Examples', and 1 Hour 'Repeating' the important points. This leaves no room for confusion. A solid 3 in 1 Package with a lot of mathematical humor. Thank You very much Sir for your Efforts.

The fact that he can not only teach people the necessary things they need to know in succeeding, but to also put a smile on our faces while doing it shows so much character. Thank you so much for being there when people are in dire need of learning and getting an education. You truly are a great man. I truly look up to you sir.

Never have I been so eager about learning calculus, and now I'm so curious of it. Professor Leonard literally opened another window for my house of curiosity.

I'm currently in a calc 3 course at a cc getting ready to transfer to uc davis (just got accepted yesterday! woot woot!) as a math major, and your videos are excellent. Your clarity is amazing and I hope you keep posting these lectures. It truly neutralizes the effect of being enrolled in a class with a disorganized professor. I give you an A+!! lol

I'm taking cal 3 with an incompetent teacher, thank you so much for uploading these videos! you are going to save me from going insane this year.

Hey Professor Leonard,
I don't know if you read these or not, but I really admire your passion for teaching and you are REALLY good at it (& you're funny as hell too (albeit in a corny way no offense)). I know you'll never get to know me, but you've helped me so much in this class (as I am sure you did with thousands of others) and I hope you realize the impact you are making on students across the world. Thank you man!

Professor Leonard, you are really amazing. I was learning this in class but only memorizing the various functions etc with your explanation I finally understand WHY we are doing what we are doing.

If you are looking for understanding then watch these videos! They may be long but they absolutely pay off in the end.

Hope you continue making videos Professor! :)

I just want to thank you SO MUCH for posting your lectures online. They are the reason why I understand the concepts behind Calculus. YOU'RE FREAKING AWESOME.

There are those who know what they teach, and then there are those of a much rarer breed, those who can ' teach' what they know. Professor Leonard is in the latter category, and we should al be truly thankful for it.

I just find it so refreshing how he gets more energized when he notices his students are dozing off. Instead of getting angry and getting a serious, even MORE boring tone than usual professors do.
Altho Professor Leonard seems to always have a decent voice for explaining.
...OR maybe I just have mediocre faculty at my college?

Holy cow you are the biggest life saver ever. I learn virtually nothing from my teacher and these videos are very informative and fun to watch. You are single handedly saving my grade.

You are absolutely phenomenal in terms of giving intuition behind the math and extending concepts from earlier in calculus. Teaching should be done with the utmost continuity and you are a bonafide professor in an age where teaching is a lost art. I wish you taught upper level math as well. I'd love to see how your teaching style would carry over into physics, chemistry, etc. Keep being awesome
