You’re not allowed to talk about this stuff! It upsets the narrative and there’s money and political power at stake. Especially when it affects the local iwi. I’m not convinced about the Kaimanawa wall - it’s possibly a red-herring and limestone deposits often show straight and regular cracking. Maybe one day we will know for sure? There are also common spherical concretions around Silverdale/Whangaparoa, of which similar spheres are often touted on overseas websites as proof of artificial intervention. Both deflect from the important stuff.
I did shoot a few wild cats on Stewart Island in the 1990’s and these were universally black and quite a lot bigger than your garden variety moggy, but nowhere near panther size.

Yes, of course all evidence of people before the Maori will be destroyed. Can't let the truth be known, can we? But there are now many who want to know. And questioning the 70 year embargo on the East coast. There is no way the Kaimanawa wall can be anything but man made. Nature does not make perfect straight lines. I believe the Patupaiaerehe exist, as well as the Turehu, and were probably early settlers, like the Waitaha people and the Moriori.
