KETO BAGELS INGREDIENTS:
Almond Flour Version:
► 1 1/2 cups Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
► 1 tbsp Baking powder
► 2 large Eggs
► 2 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded; must be either pre-shredded OR hard mozzarella, not soft "fresh")
► 2 oz Cream cheese (cubed)

Coconut Flour Version:
► 1/2 cup Wholesome Yum Coconut Flour
► 1 tbsp Baking powder
► 3 large Eggs
► 2 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded; must be either pre-shredded OR hard mozzarella, not soft "fresh")
► 2 oz Cream cheese (cubed)

Optional:
► Cooking spray (helping toppings stick)
► Sesame seeds
► Everything bagel seasoning

I love Bagels! But since I'm diabetic now, I can't eat them, they are super high glycemic. So, this looks like a great recipe I will try. I miss bagels and cream cheese so much!

My recommendation is to use a stand mixer with a paddle. It's way easier to stir than a food processor, as well as to remove the dough to preheat it. Then I scooped it out directly on a nonstick mat.

Also, I added a tablespoon of dehydrated vegetable powder (which I make at home from whatever vegetables). I used a teaspoon each of garlic/onion powder, carrot powder, and cabbage powder. The dough will not be sticky, much easier to work. and you can pretend it's a vegetable you're eating. Adding some vegetable powder works really well with eggy wet doughs.

I got the idea of making vegetable powder while watching videos on making cauliflower crust pizza. I mean, what's the most effective way to remove excess moisture from vegetables? Dehydration.

I made these and like Katherine used a stand mixer since I only have a small food processor. they came out gorgeous. I'm waiting for them to cool for the taste test. I used fine sifted almond flour for mine. My question is have you added fruit, like blueberries to the mix. I would love to do that if possible. Thanks for the easy recipe and your video is perfect! I'm sure I will be buying your book!

I love that you have options for coconut flour - I can only tolerate almond flour in small amounts. And I LOVE that dress! - You look like a mummy :) Great Halloween costume.

Thank you Wholesome Yum! I saw some comments and I am sorry that people are fixated with the carb counts. For one....to go from ketogenic to low carb...it varies for each person. I feel people will learn to get flexible and not so rigid in thinking. Food is creativity including how to include healthy carb nets into their life. Thanks!
