Eating unhealthy food and smoking are definitely the top two unhealthy things that we can do on a daily basis. But what about other less common through about unhealthy habits? In this video, we highlight things like rumination, skipping breakfast, arguing a lot with siblings, ignoring your own mental and physical needs, etc. Let us know if we miss anything else on the list. By the end of this video, we hope that you gain some awareness of bad habits that you may be doing without realizing them. Whether or not, you choose to work on those bad habits is up to you. Take the time you need to really dig deep into why you are doing those things.

When I was in college I used skip the gym why I had a lot to study but I always felt worse mentally. Making time for both mental and physical well-being is better for overall better performance and I had to learn that the hard way. So if you’re in school too don’t fall for the false idea that working out, eating well and mental health takes away from studying because it will only make you better 💜

This is all so true, I’m so stressed from studying, school family. I am skipping my times to eat, and just keep fighting with my family 24-7. And I am still in denial about my mental health that i’m starting to worry about everything! I can’t help but to just stare at my phone all day, and shame myself of how I can do better

These all still come up everyday, but I’m so happy to see that it’s happening less. Like my life’s a dumpster fire rn, but they aren’t traps anymore, I don’t get stuck there. & it’s not as desperately difficult to get outta there anymore too.
It gets better, I like better, better is enough, enough is momentarily perfection.

Thanks for this video. I just can’t seem to get out of the cycle of pushing things back hours or worrying about so many things I have trouble dealing with. I also tend to argue, too. It’s great that your content is keeping people informed and also shares helpful advice that may aid others.

I was bed-ridden with depression all through my formative years and it seems like I'm just stuck in the lifestyle even on good days. Find it incredibly difficult to care enough about myself.

I probably should have argued with my family more, and cut them off sooner. They had me convinced that I was a bad guy for not being able to love them, when in reality it was just because they mistreated me. Didn't really fully realise it until I broke free of the deliberate family isolation and found out how normal people communicate with each other.

I was and still am procrastinating at times, especially with grad school. I keep thinking, I’ve already procrastinated before and it turned out fine, it’ll probably be alright this time too. But turns out it wasn’t, I was getting terrible grades. I’m slowly trying to chip away at homework everyday now, doing at least 1 hour everyday instead of doing an all nighter on the weekends

Unhealthy habits number 2 and 6 are ones I really struggle with, I can keep myself happy and stay positive most of the time, but my physical and mental energy are my downfall, especially when I’m a stressful situation.

I've been guilty of ruminating on past events more times than I can count... I realize that this doesn't help me, but if there's one thing I've been improving on, it's having 3 meals a day no matter what. I genuinely do feel more energized when I have breakfast, but if I don't feel hungry enough for a proper meal or don't have time for one, I'll just eat something small or carry a couple snacks that I can break up during the morning hours. It's helping me a lot 😊

I don’t procrastinate, but a family member does. I tell them to about the Two Minute Rule (giving a name to your suggestion. I tell them to set their timer for two minutes. They can do anything for two mins. They usually continue on from there.
