So, the conclusion would seem to suggest that oxytocin is an essential requirement for experiencing empathy. That could lead to treatments for sociopaths, if perhaps it's something related to the oxytocin pathways, then the issue would clearly lie somewhere between production, delivery, reception, and processing of the chemical.
