YouTube is a great way to show off your work, find new followers and even get hired by companies! So this time I show you how to create videos, talk about software and equipment, how to find ideas and motivation, what our own working routine looks like and how we make an income with our content! Hope it will inspire you to start your own channel on as well! I really want to see your stuff!

I like how you showed actual numbers for your earnings, most people just handwave the $ numbers so it's hard to get an idea of how much a channel can actually earn!

I'm a graphic designer student, last year I presented my thesis for get my degree and I did a prop making channel in spanish (my mother language) but after I presented it (and pass it) I left the project, just with two videos, always got the idea to get back to it, what tutorial to do and things like that, but never make it. Your video made me remember how fun was to film the videos, edit them and, of course, building props for it, I hope that with the quarantine been extended I got the will to get back to that channel. Thank you so much!!! 💖

Thank you for a very interesting look behind the scenes. Having worked as a professional in all aspects of video production for the last 36 years, I commend your slick professional productions. I also love Premiere and Audition having worked with them since version 1.0 (over 15 years). Few people realize how much time and work goes into creating a quality video project. Also, I have learned quite a bit from your books and videos that have helped our prop /costume shops. . Keep up the good work and keep the videos, and Books, coming.

I’ve been selling sculpts and models for about 3 years now and have always thought about a YouTube channel but I’ve always wondered where to start. Thank you very much for this guide, it’s greatly appreciated.

Film student here! If you want a free software that's basically the same as Adobe Premiere, there's DaVinci Resolve. They also have a paid version that's super great and professional, that even has their version of After Effects (for animations and such) built into it, but for more simple projects like YouTube videos, the free one should work just fine. As for what to do with so much footage, our professors always told us it's better to have all your project files (raw files, saves, program files, etc) on a separate hard drive, preferably 1 to 3 terabytes. That way, everything you need is in the same place, so the editing software runs faster and better even if you have a simple laptop with less processing power like I do; and all your files are safe and backed up in case your computer crashes.

I would have never guessed that you had to make such an effort to speak English fluidly during the videos. The effort you both put in is spectacular and I'm always highly entertained!

Ten years, it's a long enough time span. I'm very glad I signed up for you. You're good at keeping it that way. Atmospheric and in its unforgettable style.

I just want to say how awesome it is that she actually went through her earnings! It can be uncomfortable to talk about but it's really good to let people know what having YouTube as a job is actually like! Also so many YouTubers use it for clickbait but don't actually talk about it, so thanks a lot!!!

Let me start by expressing our thanks to you both. We love your channel because of the energy and enthusiasm you radiate Svetlana and Bennie. Please keep this up, and I am going to order your books after posting this.
Thank you for this video, very insightful. I showed it to my kids, because they seem to think that being an influential YT-er happens overnight and doesn't seem to cost you anything.
Your comments on (mainly) one subject, software, hardware, studio is really valuable. If I look at kids, they have a great idea, make a video, next day another totally different subject pops in and then that needs to be posted. If you want to make a diary, fine, if you want to make a themed channel, not advised.
Anyway, again, keep up this energy, we ❤ you
