Modern Filmmaker is a very big and broad word and through my experinece I certainly found out that sometimes you have to be a Writer/Driector, DP/Camera operator, Sound Eng, Editor/Colorist, all in one.

I've been shooing with my smartphone for forever.. just moved to using the Sony a5000 this year and just getting into manually tweaking all the different settings.. this has been a great video for me and super fun too.. still vlog on my smartphone so it's helped me both ways.. thanks so much for this video Peter ☺️👊

So many YouTubers post these sorts of videos overloaded with commentary of their boring day, followed by showing off their advanced skills. This was the opposite; concise, explanation, demonstration. Another interesting insight would be how to plan videos, such as structure, story progression, day/weather, contingencies. What parts of your videos have you found people typically skip in the viewer analytics, and what parts are often rewatched?
