The heat doesn't always work with period cramps. There are some so bad, it seems like nothing can touch it.

I stop a sneeze by pressing my index finger on the area between the nose and upper lip. I read about this tip years ago, and it always works for me.

8:34 It also helps to keep a notebook on your nightstand. If something is on your mind, you can jot it down there rather than trying to remember it in the morning.
You can also use it to record your dreams upon waking for better dream recall

Mike, if you put deodorant on the bottom of your feet (soles), your feet & shoes won't stink. Use deodorant, not antiperspirant.
If you're feeling hot, immerse your forearms in icy water for at least 30 seconds. Then raise arms above your head. You will cool down. This is a military trick.Very useful when its HOT !

0:43 I sneezed only a day or two after major abdominal surgery. I grabbed my nose (just pinched my nostrils) and was able to prevent the previous two, but one got through. It was EXTREMELY painful and I thought I’d done major damage

Yep, it's true, heat can relax and help diminish menstrual cramping. Speaking from personal experience. It doesn't take the pain away completely or in a matter of seconds, but it gets you to relax and the pain goes away gradually, but quicker than if you didn't apply heat.

10:40 The smell of citrus really does help. Origin used to have two series of bath products one Gloom-away (grapefruit) and one Fret-not (tangerine). They really did help and I still miss both the body wash and bubble bath. They had a Jump Start soap for morning showers that I loved too.

Make sure you don’t mistake a heart attack for acid reflux. AF can be just as painful as a heart attack. If you are doing all kinds of stuff and aren’t getting relief, you start sweating and have left arm pain get to an emergency room. BTW…not every heart attack victim has Left arm pain. This has been a measuring stick for judging heart attacks for years. It can still happen, but not necessarily in women. We do not always have the same symptoms. If you have crushing chest pain DO NOT let them send you home. Especially if you are a woman. Make them do an EKG at the very least. Don’t use turmeric if you use blood thinners! The problem with raising your knees is that it scrunches your body up. Try leaning back if you have trouble. Also drink more water and eat some roughage. You know…rabbit food.

The cold compress to the back of the neck also can help when dealing with heat exhaustion as it helps to cool the brain. As it affects the hypothalamus by basically tricking it, HOWEVER it is a stopgap to helping getting you or the person your with proper medical attention.

Two things:
First, I've learned from extremely severe GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease) that in addition to elevating the head, and discussing with your doctor which antacid / PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor) is best for you, a menthol cough drop somehow reduces the immediate burning for a little while. Perhaps it slightly numbs and/or coats your throat?
Second - I don't understand the fact about coffee causing headaches, because Excedrin specifically adds caffeine to their migraine relief medication.
