Cutting a bike cable lock

Cable locks are so incredibly easy to cut that they should never be considered as primary security. Even if you feel like you are in an area where you don't need much security there are better alternatives that provide either better security or more convenience.

Is this even a wire cutter? It looks more like a cable cutter. For cutting copper and aluminum cables. Not that it wouldn’t do the job a wire cutter would just last longer and cut even more easily

Absolute B.S. If you've got a super tuff 10 mm toughened steel cable you cant just cut it with bolt cutters, I've had my key break in my lock once and a supermarket security guy helped me out with bolt cutters . he was a 6' Moari guy and he was huffin' and puffin' and putting on a good show for passers by for a good fifteen minutes. Some useless druggy with a rusty old cheap pair of cutters would not be able to do it and I had the cut marks from 2 attempts by theives on one cable to prove it. What kind of weird space age technology has gone into the making of those pliers? Oh that's right none, its B.S.!
