This technique worked great. I had a good beefy pair of Channel Lock cutters lying around and they worked great. For some reason it just never clicked that a methodical approach would work just fine on a wire lock like this. I mean, it's all just wires. And in the end it saved my from buying a pair of bolt cutters. Thank you for making and posting this video!

I had a neighbor move out next to us and they left their bikes still locked up. (And before you can say "well maybe they were coming to get it" It's been months.) And my other neighbor's kids had their bikes stolen on Christmas. So that's why I used this video to help get some kids bikes that no one was using.
