FASER BEAM DELETES EVERYTHING, Best Pyro Build (Post Patch) | Outriders Pyromancer Build Guide

Faser beam just saw it's damage SKYROCKET. Before on a perfect rotation we'd see about a 1.1 mill to 2 mill faser but now we can easily get that to 5-6 mill on a sloppy rotation and 12 million on a perfect rotation. My lord the pyro just keeps getting better even if the servers don't.

Clear rundown of the pieces without jumping over them. Clear explanation of the order by which you use the skills. Etc.

I had to stop watching to say this upfront... This is by far the best and well laid out tutorial video I have seen. All the other videos make you squint to see what's in the onscreen box but yours, amazing. If you are trying to make notes or changes to your build this is by far superior to others.

So I copied this build with a few tweaks, and I have to say that I’m loving it. I went more defensive on the middle tree, just to add more staying power. But if I get really good at it, I can see going more offensive. The only other major difference is instead of Bullet Kindling, I have on Pants on Fire.

This wasn’t really on purpose - I have the pants that I have right now. But I have to say, Pants on Fire gives me some amazing CC (I’ve seen as high as 333, 000 damage from Overheat), and it feels great to start an encounter with FASER, close the distance and then Heatwave x2, FASER again, and finally overheat.

Thanks to Captain Hunter I can pretty much just focus on the Elites and any adds right around them. All those other red dots around me will either be dead or dying once a fully charged Overheat goes off - after the Elite is dead.

So I am currently experimenting with a non-Acari build because I'm sick of being married to Heatwave and some of the mods. I'm trying it with : FASER, Overheat, and Thermal Bomb. FASER for the single target(s) DPS, Overheat for cleaning trash/cheap healing, and thermal bomb for debuff/ trash cleaning. Plus all three abilities interrupt, which can really lock up the boss. It's not perfect, and I don't have the perfect armor yet...but this video is making me want to give the Acari one more shot. Right now I've seen my FASER get as high at 5-6 million on a perfect rotation. So yeah, thank you for doing this deep dive!

I'd suggest keeping detonator instead of running captain hunter. you're already outputting ridiculous amounts of damage, cap hunter seems overkill. having that extra overheat on the 2nd rotation should help with survivability with skill life leeches. i have damage absorber on my middle tree build and still have difficulty here and there on CT15 solos.

Mag just curious but I was noticing first that there is almost a 5 second delay until Faser shoots and even with the wider beam you only hit one target unless within those 5 seconds it moves far enough out of the way and you miss, even with the added damage output doesn't it seem impractical to use? It also seems impractical to use if your playing solo with the constant swarming from beasts and the constant barrage from humans. I admit it looks cool but I wish it had like an AOE explosion when you hit the target and kill in a radius that I think would be even more useful. Personally I've moved on from Outriders the Player Appreciation Pack was pretty insulting to all the players who stuck by the game despite it's shortcomings so that pretty much did it for me.

Thermal bomb is probably a better choice over overheat with double up and the 40% extra damage to enemies and extra charge if you can make room
