I woke up at 5am, here is the video at 11pm 😢 It's giga long, but I covered everything and gave my immediate thoughts on every change as well as analysis of how it'll change up the game to the best of my abilities, hope you guys enjoy and uh sorry for the late patch breakdown, we did our best with this monster and maintained as much quality as possible.

I am not joking when I say that the thermite grenades change is perhaps one of the most important. It allows for some incredible build diversity. Every team now needs at least one tank clearing weapon thanks to the convenience of being able to eliminate a hulk, charger, BT, or FS in a reasonable amount of time. But if they aren't around you now have access to a pocket anti tank, allowing you to spice up your builds by a significant margin.

Spear: 4, 000 damage (AP7)
Recoilless: 3200 damage
EAT & Quasar: 2000 damage
Patriot Exosuit rocket: 1250 damage
Commando: 1100 damage

Bile Titan has 6000 HP with its head at 1500 HP, and Charger has 2400 HP with 1200 HP head (Behemoth has 3000 HP and 1600 HP head).

Spear and Recoilless are the "Tier 1" AT weapons and will always one shot any chargers and two shot bile titans anywhere. In addition, due to the tanks gaining AP6 armor and has 3000 HP, Spear is now the only weapon that can one shot a tank and cannon tower.

EAT and Quasar are the "Tier 2" AT weapons capable of one shot enemies if you hit the head, but otherwise require 3 shots or more. They are more punishing to use but they are more flexible, in that EAT doesn't occupy your support slot and Quasar doesn't require ammo restock and cooldown on the move. Both weapons will still one shot Hulks (1800HP) anywhere.

Commando and Patriot rocket are the "Tier 3" weapons, the exosuit might one shot charger on the head but the commando cannot. However, the Commando's rapid fire does mean its faster to kill 2 chargers than any other AT weapons, and one shot to the leg still breaks their armor allowing normal weapons to kill them. Spamming all 4 shots to a cannon tower (2100HP AP6) can destroy them, or 2 shot if you hit the rear (AP3).

I played a Difficulty 10 Super Helldive for the first time after the patch today. The combat was brutal, unending, and I didn't even make it out of the last mission with my teammates.

And it was SO MUCH god damn fun.

The new patch has given the game a great balance between difficulty and fun, with combat being challenging but very enjoyable. THIS is the Helldivers I fell in love with earlier this year. We are genuinely, without exaggeration, so back.

Honestly despite how op it sounds, recoiless feels SO fun now, one shotting biles and chargers just feels so right.
Other then that, stalwart + thermites is also a joy

Finally, Arrowhead buffs the game, resulting in a 50% increase in the fun players have while playing it. Have fun testing and researching all the new stuff, looking forward to the next video where you show us some cool new loadouts.

Also: amazing new map for the "evacuate high value assets mission", and one of my favorite changes: they changed the firing noise for the sickle to actually sound like a laser rifle

I logged in and tried the Arc thrower my 3rd mission back. As a former Arc one trick, it feels so good to be back. Just left click and hold W key.
I ran into some gigachad randoms and we did a whole operation together and had so much fun. We made a 4 man firing line with railguns and dumpstered a Bile titan, and then immediately got Tokyo drifted by a charger. Ended it with a rocket defense against bugs and I opted to stay outside the walls with tesla towers and arc thrower. Asked host permission to bring the meme booster and got a hell yes. The outside of the wall was constantly on fire and filled with tesla towers. At one point I threw one too close to the wall and if I took 5 steps out, it looked at me with murderous intent.
10/10 W patch, I want to dive with those lads again.

22:26 That's something i experienced yesterday.
Seeing a 20-ton mass of iron coming my way, I square TF up and start unloading 20mm into its frame. Locking eyes, not a step back, not a moment of hesitation. It falls the instant right before reaching me. Feels amazing, man.

I was ready to give up on this game but this patch really brought it back for me. Every weapon I have tried feels so much better and the bugs don't feel like bullet sponges any more. Lots of new ways to fight them too. Great patch Arrowhead!
