She was so snubbed from the Oscars that year, she played a princess in a way that was so believable and heart-warming and didn't came across as parodic not even for one minute. Oustanding piece of acting.

I love that scene! She actually feels "the anger" for the very first time of her life. She is so happy about it and me too.

"I'm angry!" *slaps Robert then giggles "Oh, I'm wonderful!"
Me: God she's adorable.

It's such a great moment, where when he walks away, Giselle's arm's frozen in place (her body dosn't know how to react) and she just has this look of shocked bewilderment ("W-w-what just happened?").  This is why Amy's so Oscar-worthy, in whatever she does.  It's the little things.

Lust? a little bit of desire and she's candid about it just like her anger, and is kind of taken away with the emotion. very well acted. she's a great actress.

Love that scene. Amy Adams/Giselle, representing all Disney princesses past, present and future, experienced - and rejoiced - feeling angry for the first time.
And it wasn't treated as something wrong, or a weakness. Just yet another emotion that she had never had the chance to feel.

The writing, tho simple, is stellar here and even though I often skipped this scene and never understood it as a child, it's absolutely wonderful. Robert comes in to tell her to give up hoping for a hopeless relationship because he's used to failed relationships, even saying "If a relationship has problems at the beginning, it's not gonna work" and have that holier-than-thou attitude towards Giselle about this topic, while Giselle just clings to the hope of meeting with her prince again and believing in perfect relationships...

But this very moment when Giselle gets angry was the very thing that made her fall in love with Robert, not just because it made her more human and made her feel things other than childish naivete about love, but this is the very problem Robert pertained to when he said that line. This means that Robert also clung to the idea of a "perfect relationship". This "problem" was a catalyst for them to bond, because relationships aren't all love and light. It's growing together. In this moment, Robert helped Giselle grow by making her feel new emotions and learn about real life. Giselle helped Robert grow by giving him hope about love.

This very problem in their relationship made it work in the end.

This scene was done so well, Giselle comes into her own, starts to be able to feel more emotions than just happy or sad. She becomes a multi faceted person, capable of feeling happiness and sadness but also anger, and annoyance, and judging by the comments, most have picked up on her having a sexual awakening or frustration too. Amy Adams played her brilliantly.

This was a great perfomance..believe me this is not usually my genre of film but I watched this one day and was so...enchanted by her performance.

"If a relationship has issues in the beginning, it doesn't end well." Robert, you are a man of wisdom.

Dude, Amy fucking deserves an Oscar just simply for this scene. Agree?

The sexual tension here was so strong, I'm surprised Disney allowed this movie to air so much.

The joy at the novelty of the emotion overcame the original emotion.

2:25 always makes me tear up no matter how many times I watch it. The shock and confusion in Giselle’s expression as she realizes something that changes everything she’s ever thought, all while the screening slowly zooms out with such a saddening version of “That’s How You Know” playing. See the irony in that title too- 😭😭😭😭 They directed that scene way too well.
