About Enchanted:

For princess-to-be Giselle, life is a fairy tale...until she's banished from the animated land of Andalasia by an evil queen and thrust into the very unmagical, live-action world of modern-day Manhattan. When a cynical, no-nonsense divorce lawyer comes to her aid, little does he realize that this joyful, wide-eyed innocent is about to enchant him.

Robert is the first Disney Character to be openly confused about why everyone is bursting out in song and somehow knows all the lyrics, pitches & tempos properly

This remains one of the most positive messages about love ever. Be proactive, be loving

The fact the cute old men with the flowers were the chimney sweepers from Mary Poppins makes me tear up every time :’)

I LOVE how they seamlessly blend different styles of music in the same song, like Carribean and Latin. That's lovely.

See this is what I want real life to be. Romantic upbeat musical numbers outta nowhere. Like come on us that too much to ask for?

Amy was just being an absolute joy and sweetheart in this at the end because when she is thanking everyone that was just her doing that.

I'm happy this movie exists because everyone needs one like it once in a while.

And Giselle and Robert both make good points, that there's more to true love than just singing and not everyone is meant for everybody and some relationships take a while to blossom; but at the same time if you have a heart of gold, remain positive, and prove to your partner about how much your really care for them, then sooner or later your all of your dreams will come true.

With all the cameos and references, this has the energy of what the 100th anniversary Disney movie should have been

Why can’t the real life be like this? It would be wonderful to just start singing a song whenever you want and half of the town joins you.

This movie will forever be my favorite. I am still sad that Giselle wasn't counted as an official disney princess.

1:15 the elderly men are the same dancers from the Step in Time scene, in the original Mary Poppins. There's a little homage, with their flowers, which are shaped like their chimney sweep brushes

I absolutely love Robert's reactions throughout this song - his bewilderment as more and more people join in on the impromptu flash mob, his unamused exasperation amidst all the happy-go-lucky faces, his urgent speedwalking as he tries not get caught in middle of the frolicking dancers... It's the perfect comedic juxtaposition!

This scene has always been a favourite of mine! I saw this film for the first time around 10 years ago and I can tell you Edward getting run over by the bikes and Robert nodding his head to the beat have never failed to make me laugh! REALLY hope the sequel coming out this year is good 🤞

I don't think anyone's talking about the lyrics at 2:13. Giselle sang the lyrics: "Well, does he take you out dancing just so he can hold you close?" "Dedicate a song with words meant just for you?"
And with Robert saying with each lyric that he can't dance nor sing. This is a foreshadowing for later in the movie where they danced in the ball and Robert got to dance with Giselle close and sang to her ear softly. Showing how that it's how they knew they loved each other.😍💕

P.S. Excited for "Disenchanted"!

I love that he is giving her the McDreamy smile all throughout the movie. You see him falling for her. His walls crumbling away brick by brick.

Robert: *vibing to the song*

Also Robert: *Stops and looks away* I wasn't doing anything.

Love the "Everybody wants to live happily ever after" at 1:52, as she skips. Dang Amy nailed this role and owned the song.

As much as I actually enjoyed Disenchanted - and that came as a huge surprise to me, honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did - Enchanted has a level of heart that just can't be replicated or recreated.
