Linear algebra is the branch of mathematics concerning linear equations such as linear functions and their representations through matrices and vector spaces. Linear algebra is central to almost all areas of mathematics. In this course you will learn most of the basics of linear algebra which will help to understand better and apply in ML as well.

I learned more in 1 hour than I learned in a whole year in school, I'm studying computer science at the moment and Im starting to learn linear algebra from the very beginning, thanks for this mate

This is how maths should be explained! he doesn't just throw all the formulas without a background intuition but he actually explain all of them geometrically so we can get the necessary picture of what is going on (something very important in this field I must say). Now it makes much more sense to me why we make use of certain calculations. Bravo for this video! :D

After searching on YouTube for almost a week this has been the absolute best beginner friendly linear algebra video I’ve watched. Most videos begin with the assumption that the student already knows certain aspects and just goes on solving problems with no explanation. Thank you so much you’re a wonderful teacher:)

I love it how he gives a few seconds of silence to cope with panic when he drops a new concept.
Lovely tut and mostly lovely, chilled instructor! Thanks! ♥️

How do you find more work /lessons from the teacher of Linear Algebra for Beginners | Linear algebra for machine learning? This guy is the best!!!! I absolutely suck at math. For the first time I feel like I'm starting to learn because of the way this fantastic teacher explains mathematics. He actually explains to you what's going on with graphs, and he takes his time to show you the math behind what he's doing.

I saw a comment about this guy taking pauses so that we can absorb everything.
Teachers actually do that so that the students get enough time to square off any doubts

Thanks so much for this video! I wish I had you as a math teacher in high school... 25 years later and it finally makes sense :)

What this guy is saying is that If you know what is Pythagoras theorem then you are a genius in linear algebra! . The best explanation of linear algebra ever.

thank you so much you are the best you don't just say random things and expect me to know it, I also clicked off the video when I thought It was getting to complicated

38 and still learning maths from youtube. 3brown - Khanacademy etc etc.. But i couldn't grasp it what vectors is all about in more than 2 dimention graph. This one really was easy and clear for me to understand. Thanks a lot Geek.

Never finished college, i landed a coding gig 4 years ago. Thinking about getting back. This video explained me more and better than 4 years of school. But to be also honest, i was dumb back then. Thanks.

10:20 - For all the homies who don't know why the square root popped up.

For all real numbers
x, √x²=|x|

Without the absolute value symbol, it doesn't work for negative numbers!
For example,
√(−3)²≠−3
