Joe Rogan & Forrest Galante sit down and discuss which cryptids may be real. Cryptids include Bigfoot, Yeti, the chupacabra, the Jersey Devil, the Loch Ness Monster, the Mokele-mbembe, and more. I used the Mothman in the thumbnail if anyone is curious.

Forrest Galante is an international wildlife adventurer, conservationist, author of "Still Alive: A Wild Life of Rediscovery" and host on Discovery Channel.

Clip taken from JRE #1927 w/ Forrest Galante

Moonshiners using the presence of normal howling wolves to spread the myth of a dangerous monster and keep people away from their operation in the woods is some true Scooby Doo villain shit.

Now this is the kind of JRE content I live for

This is what I want to hear about. Monsters, cryptids, ghost, aliens, all that weird shit.

I like this guy. He talks about cryptids and other weird shit, but he's a skeptic and he's honest.

I live in Michigan, and for decades our Department of Natural Resources has INSISTED that there were no cougars here. Earlier this year, somebody finally got good trail cam footage, and they finally had to admit what some people were already aware of.

I live in Santiago Chile, the Andes is literally out my window. We thought Pumas werent around the city anymore and the last sighting was like 20-30 years ago. Turns out during the pandemic one Puma started wandering the suburbs, went on a 3 hour stroll and since no one was out, authorities just left it roam until it got back into the mountains.
Its a 8 million people city... If a big cat or cat-like-behavior animal doesnt want to be seen, it won be.

The Giant Squid used to be a cryptid. They only found them in the 90's, and before that it was all rumors

My ex-wife should be considered a cryptid. I've got plenty of photo evidence that she existed but never saw her again

I think many of the sea cryptids could be real. When considering how much of the seas are unexplored, it seems far more likely than land cryptids.

Everyone has a smart phone with great cameras until they see a cryptid. Then they suddenly have the most basic blurry camera possible lol

Hey Joe….I’m a 69 yo disabled veteran and retired Corporate Pilot. I’ve watched your show on and off for a long while. Until about a month ago. Now I watch everyday. I really enjoy your point of view on almost every issue. Keep up the great work and your point.

Great point with the mountain lion example. I lived deep in the Sierra Nevada mountains for 10 years I would always hear cats and often found tracks in my yard. Only saw one and I only saw it’s eyes reflecting back at me and it’s tail through some bushes when it flanked me and ran away.

It is a very good point that many creatures with stable populations are practically never seen. There are also new creatures being discovered all the time. Any sufficiently intelligent creature could and has gone completely undetected forever. There are also many instances of creatures thought to be myths that were later found and successfully captured.

Galante is my fav guy to watch Joe talk to. He seems so educated, experienced, and also skeptical, yet willing to talk about dragons and such.

I'll never forget my first and only time seeing a Mountain Lion. I was on guard duty at Camp Pendleton, CA and my sentry called up from the guard shack that there was a "big ass cat" chewing up his portable camping chair. We drove down to the gate and it ran off into the brush.

Remember Ceolacanth was presumed extinct and also the Nautilus. These two pre historic creatures are still alive.
