CPU test:

RAM test:

Disk test:

Installation: brew install hyperfine
Test run (Python loop):

👉 Conclusion: The MacBook Air M3 is still a top choice for many users starting with programming! But if you need more power for memory-intensive tasks (like content creation, LLMs), upgrading to 16 GB RAM or to the MacBook Air M4 (with 16 GB RAM) might be the better options.
