Small piece of save the stress on the driver, use a breaker to loosen the lug nuts to make the job easier on your driver

That is asking a lot from a 1/4" drive impact wrench. I was surprised when the Kobalt impact wrench actually removed the lugs from your truck. Very impressive. I just purchased the Kobalt 1/2" drive 24 volt impact wrench and I am very impressed with it. I am thinking of getting the 1/4" drive as well.
Good video, very informative.

The problem is that using a 1/4 impact driver with a hex shank receiver as an impact wrench will wear out the head much faster. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Thanks. I learned something new today. When my Ryobi quits working, I'm getting a Kobalt.

What's the name of the adapter you used on the hex chuck kobalt? I just got one but trouble finding that adaptor.

Be sure to use impact sockets instead of the chrome ones. You could possibly shatter the chrome sockets

I've done some research and Kobalt 24v tools are really good stuff and I think I'm going to invest in me a set very soon, I will start with the hammer drill and impact wrench kit then add to the line up as I get more money

Didn’t give it time to loosen. Might take 15 sec not instantaneous.

Kobalt isn't bad. I just went to lowes tonight and saw them. I own a nice dewalt brushed set that I got for pretty cheap and am happy.

I can guarantee you are not strong enough to strip those lug nuts by hand especially with that tiny tire tool.

All of these tools would do better if you use work a lot better if you use sockets designed for impacts.

you should invest in a good 1/2 inch torque wrench

Did not care for they video. Felt like you just drug it on. I do how ever really like your choosing of impacts that you compared. It was a very good choice and answered a lot of questions I had. Thank you for the video.

does anyones 1/4 impact have a slight rattle when shook back and forth? I am not sure if it is something normal or not but I have never noticed this on any single driver I have ever owned?

I noticed you have a 18v battery on your 20v impact driver.

hopefully after 4 years you learned that lugnuts are an improper application for an impact driver.
