Many young people nowadays seem to be constantly stooped over peering at a phone. In this position their spine is curved and instead of breathing deep from the diaphragm, as you do with proper posture, they shallow breathe. This will in a few decades lead to COPD in many especially if they're unfit and or vaping.

just got to measure your sats at rest should be 95, any higher super human, if you climb the stairs or ladders stays 95, super human, if it drops drops to 85 and takes a while to recover, then you have a problem, sometimes it can drop down to 70 close to death oxygen, if your aveoli sacks are damaged they cant be repaired, not just smoking, where a mask working with toxic materials, welding plastic, lead etc ventilated the area, wear a mask

My friend has COPD but has recently got far better after taking some anti parasite drug, it's not ivermectin but it may be the hydro one, I can't remember. He's far less breathless.
