I was not aware the flu vaccine was recommended for everyone. in the UK I've only ever known it be recommended to the vulnerable like the elderly or people who are immunocompromised or have other illnesses/diseases. I understand herd immunity is a thing but where I live the flu shot is not just freely given to otherwise healthy adults. perhaps other areas in the UK are different?

Why is the Flu from Australia got the name 'Brisbane' when Brisbane is not in Victoria Australia? Brisbane is in a different state, called Queensland

I've gotten the flu twice before and recovered. Then a few days later i find out you can die from it :c

For me the worst of the flue season is the cold weather and the darkness. It makes me tired and feel weak and you can count on it that I get ill soon thereafter.
