You can use the magnetic ring as a dashboard holder. Without using the charger. For 10 bucks so you could buy a dashboard MagSafe rain

omg the horror of plugging a cable in. My life is so much easier now. I have had so many sleepless nights wondering how i can keep living, knowing i have to reach over for whole 5 secs and plug in a phone. The main downside, as I see it, is not being able to charge while having the phone face down to lesson possibility for distraction. Timeless design, but inherently flawed for people easily distracted.
