The original MagSafe was for the MacBooks and was a proprietary charging cable which has magnets in it so if it’s hit or pulled away it can disconnect without damaging the port

What you’re explaining is MagSafe connect; specifically the ring if magnets.

The full Macsafe spec includes the Qi charger, magnets and housing.

Magsafe, to me, is just the charging plug of the MacBook, cuz I never owned an iPhone. It's safe because when u trip over the cable, the MacBook won't fall onto the ground

Best part of the magsafe wallet is that it can be quickly taken off for charging or to use another accessory. One of my favorites is an Xbox controller mount from otter box. Great for playing Genshin and Star Rail.

I’m obsessed with MagSafe. I just a got a charger today and it’s so satisfying. It’s also very convenient. I’m getting a magnetic pop socket type thing tomorrow. All I want to do is charge my phone because of how satisfying it is. Idk if it’s cause I’m getting old, a whopping 25, but to stick something onto the back of your phone, WITH A CASE, to charge it is just really really cool. 😂😂

There's a phone case company called Pitaka, they got a few magsafe cases available for some flagship Samsung and Google phones at the moment. As far as I know (I don't own one to say) it's the thinnest case you can get with magsafe on it and it's carbon fiber
