Damn, The Scalper really trying to sell us on that Jackery Portable Power Station. I appreciate the hustle

I've always known SSDs are more impact resistant than HDDs, but how much more? I'd love to see a video of them using different capacity HDDs and different types of SSDs and hitting them or dropping them

EU: Let's use USB-C everywhere
Apple: Let's bring MagSafe back lol

I'd love a Techquickie (or LTT vid with a broader subject) about how the VPN industry is dominated by a few big companies meaning popular VPN brands are owned by the same company.
Example: Kape Technologies owns Private Internet Access, ExpressVPN, Cyberghost and others.
LMG cares about their viewers' privacy right? It's something important, please.

3:23 It seems that James(The scalper) is trying to sell us his unwanted power station from the "PC or no PC" show.

Single biggest innovation here? The cable isn't permanently attached to the power brick. My Surface Pro has a magnetic connector, and man do those things wear out quick due to the lack of proper strain relief (another bad design copied from Apple). But you have to buy a whole new brick when they do.

My deep fryer has the equivalent, to prevent eight liters of hot oil from scarring everyone near if someone trips on the cord, and I believe that I've seen it in other electronic devices in the past.

Apple fans from back a decade ago will see this as a return of the king!

And yet, company like Volta make usb cable with magnetic heads that function the same. Pretty handy for wireless USB peripherals like mouse, keyboards and headsets. Especially Logitech devices being inconsistent with their devices connections being USB Micro B or USB-C. Just plug those tips in and not worry about them, no stress on the ports and the magnet is fairly strong but easy to pull away when you don't need it charging anymore. The one cable to rule them all.

I'd love to see USB-IF make USB-D, the magsafe variant of USB.

Seeing how badly Apple seems to want to remove ports from everything, I'm beginning to wonder if Tim Cook's village was attacked by a headphone port when he was a boy.

James: check out this Jackery product!
The scalper: I’m having trouble getting rid of this Jackery product!

2:46 As Anthony recently demonstrated in the MacBook review, those "more powerful magnets" were so strong it could mean your laptop getting pulled off the table despite being "magsafe".

You forgot to mention the best thing about it: The included USB-C t o MagSafe cable is braided now, so the chances of the cable breaking is potentially much lower, which eliminates the previous complaints about the cable being easy to break

Appreciate how you manage to turn even your dead laptops into views.
Now that's how you effectively make use of a tax write-off.

The way he tripped on the laptop at the start of the video hurt me on so many levels, even tho it was probably dead anyway

Love seeing apple making competitive laptops. Computer hardware is on fire with the gains being made in performance.

haha I remember those cords, friends who had them used the spring from within click pens and wrapped that around the base of the cord as it was just big enough to fit, preventing cable damage as it now bent with less stress on the cable sleeve.

Huh, Apple realizing they made a mistake and backtracking on their design. Finally function over form.
