My son is almost 10 and is obsessed with sharks and the ocean, and I've been talking with him about becoming a Marine Biologist. I kind of wish there was an easier version for kids to understand, because I'm doing my best at translating the information I'm finding, with only a highschool diploma. None of my immediate family has graduated from College, some have attended but never finished. I still don't have the confidence to try myself. However with my 2 kids, I am definitely encouraging them to find a field they love, and to go to college. My parents never did this with me or my siblings, hence why none of us graduated college, we all did graduate highschool though.... But we are all workers, I started working at the age of 12 and have never been without a job more than a few months, which is after I had my babies.
