Nepal plane crashes seconds before landing; 5 Indians among 72 onboard | Watch

A Yeti Airlines passenger plane crashed on the runway of the newly built Pokhara International Airport in Nepal on Sunday morning. The ill-fated plane had 68 passengers, including 5 Indians, and 4 crew members onboard. Reuters reported, quoting a Nepal Army spokesperson, that at least 40 people were killed. Following the crash, the Nepali government held an emergency meeting of the cabinet. Watch this video to know more.

Get your facts straight. The aircraft didn't crash in the runway. It crashed outside the airport premises--some 2 km away--in a ravine before it could even land. The flight was a domestic one and was to use the runway built in the domestic airport and not the one recently built by the Chinese. Indian journalists need to do some homework and also overcome biases.
