NEPAL PLANE CRASH: Video captures moment before Yeti Airlines plane carrying 72 people crashes

I can tell you from watching the video that it was a stall that caused the crash. The plane’s speed fell below what it needed to maintain lift. The wing literally drops and the plane rolls because there’s not enough air flow to support the weight. This would be pilot error.

I wouldnt be surprised they can't find the black boxes because there aren't any... if this was only used for local flights within Nepal I wouldn't doubt it. Nepal has horrible flight safety standards.

everyone's like "why did you point the camera away?"

the person recording obviously must have thought the plane was about to hit their house, as it was banking towards them, so they froze. they also might have just been shocked by what they were seeing and wanted to watch it with their own eyes to make sure they weren't seeing things.

you people literally have footage from INSIDE the plane as it crashed, which has never really been seen before with a crash of this magnitude and survival rate. is that really not good enough for you?

The crash occurred in Gandaki Province between the old Pokhara Airport and the new Pokhara International Airport, which was opened two weeks earlier and also where the aircraft was intending to land. The accident resulted in the deaths of all 72 people on board, and was Nepal's worst aviation accident since the crash of Pakistan International Airlines Flight 268 in 1992, the deadliest aviation accident in Nepalese domestic aviation, and the deadliest accident involving an ATR 72.

The pilot monitoring feathered the props instead of setting the flaps to 30 which stalled the aircraft, causing the crash

Don't make up what happened if you don't know what you're talking about. The plane never turned left if anything they turned right. It was a wing stall, they lost lift under the left wing at too low of an altitude to recover.
