Hey ya'll! Today on my channel we are reacting to a story I found on TikTok about a bride who claims she was catfished by a wedding photographer. The wedding photographer has a different side to tell.. So was this woman scammed or is she being a bridezilla?

As a photographer of many years, I can tell you THIS is why I don't do weddings. The woman's video is filtered so much that she's made herself look like a blurry Pinocchio. She's showing a lot of photos that don't look edited, and I'm suspicious that she only showed the candids and the off takes that weren't the cream of the crop, and likely weren't the ones included in the album.

The bride complained about them not being edited to bait the raw photos out of the photographer. The photographer unfortunately fell into her trap by providing the raws in an attempt to remedy her concern...and this provided the unedited 'evidence' which the bride presented on TikTok as the final product.
Seems like she's hoping to scam the photographer by manipulating the court of public opinion.

I mean, she has such a heavy filter on her face on the TikTok video, it's not surprising that she's not happy with the editing on the photos. It's also super weird that she's like "I think she hated us." Girl, you're a grown ass woman.

a lot of the photos she’s scrolling past are CLEARLY really beautiful with highly skilled composition. It doesn’t look like they’re fully edited, but it truly looks like a wedding shoot with hundreds of stunning photos. I definitely think there’s more to this story

Considering even her TikTok videos are so heavily filtered and altered her face enters uncanny valley levels of fakeness, I'm suspecting she's being hit by photos taken of reality not being in line with the heavily altered image of herself she's constantly watching on her own TikTok/Instagram/Facebook videos and photos.

This happened to my friend who is a well-respected wedding photographer. The bride posted pictures on her social media saying how much she loved the photos, then hit my friend with a small claims suit because "she wasn't happy", friend had proof she had shared them and talked about how much she loved them, friend won the small claims suit. Apparently this bride had done this to several other vendors in an assumed attempt to get some money back from all the money she spent on her wedding.

I used to do editing for a professional photographer. One wedding had a mother in law from hell. Just a terrible person, mean to everyone, and very entitled. So we slightly enhanced her under eyes and wrinkles in EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. Even the candid shots. It easily added a few hrs onto the entire job, and it was worth it.

Rarely do we get to see an instance where the internet is using common sense. This woman thought she would easily gain sympathy and ruin this photographer's reputation. Nicole's reputation alone had people coming to her defense, and she is furthering her good name by handling this with so much poise. Sh*t I'd hire her, lol!

I knew she was full of it when she said, "There wasn't a ton of people smiling." I have a feeling she expected a whole gallery of people smiling and this perfect wonderland of a wedding from candids. She aimed for perfection and, of course, was disappointed.

as a professional photographer myself, it just looks like the client was sent ALL photos, unedited, to be able to pick any that they want and they tried to use that against the photographer by picking out the obviously "worst" ones. TONS of my wedding photography is the back of peoples heads... Because people turn their heads!! If you flip a few photos down though, you'll see their beautiful bright faces. Crazy how that works!!

Edit: Just got to the part of Nicole sending the client an email, literally saying at the bottom of the email that she would love to donate in her clients name to a charity of her choice. IS THAT NOT THE

Every time the bride said "there was no love" in the pictures, my WHOLE MIND went, "I think that's more on YOU, than the photographer." In the one where she said, "this would be "ok", but my husband isn't looking" Honey, that's not the photographer's fault. Yes, she could have said, "hey let's retake that, everyone look at me this time." But who knows how many times she had already done that. Like everyone is saying, we don't know the full story! When she said "I feel like she hated us", there is DEFINITELY a back-story she's not telling us. You don't jump to "hate" when you're unhappy with the photos. You would say something like "she didn't seem to capture my family".

Bride saying “I feel like she hated us” is an admission. It’s the only one we’ll get from her. It seems to me that the bride was unbearable. Perhaps she was a zilla on the day of the event and rubbed Nicole Ashley the wrong way. Also, someone left a comment that said “she can’t photoshop you a high end wedding” 🤣 that is so true. Setting a vibe requires specific lighting and damn Kendall, Nicole Ashley doesn’t control the weather! 😂

Honestly the bride, groom and wedding party also NEED TO PAY ATTENTION! They need to pose, listen to the photographer, etc. and golden hour does make a HUGE difference! My husband and I had our photos done at golden hour, and they were gorgeous! ❤

I'm having a hard time believing someone who filters their TikTok videos so heavily. This is the kind of client I would be worried would do further edits on my deliverables and ruin them. This all seems super suspicious, as many have pointed out. This is why I set up a gallery for someone to choose images from for full edits I watermark the unedited images with "PROOF" on them.

I'm dying to see the update on this!
