Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

She's actually very fortunate to have found out before the marriage what kind of a person he truly is.

That first bride is NOT petty at all. She demonstrated pure grace and class. THIS is what we must all aspire to when life hits us below the belt. She didn't seek revenge, she didn't try to destroy or even to annoy him. She rolled with the punch, held her pretty head up high, and carried on like the queen she is. THIS.

That disappearing groom didn’t just leave her at the altar, he left his own groomsmen and his parents hanging. He forced everyone in his life to figure out he was totally dumping his bride and left them to make the notifications and apologies. Having well edited video proof that you are a more fun and better person than your ex is the best revenge!

The fact that the groomsmen and her family salvaged tells me it's NOT her issue but his.... she is goals, pride for women like her, she is what I want to be when I grow up

Wouldn’t he just feel the absolute worst if he drove by the venue and noticed there was music, dancing, and everyone having a good time WITHOUT him? The ABSOLUTE GRACE that woman has. Inspiring. Shocking. Amazing.

A news station had her and 2 of her bridesmaids on to talk about her story and kicked in a couple grand to send her on a girls trip in lieu of her honeymoon! LOVE THIS!! I wish he'd give her an explanation or at the very least apologize. She deserves that.

I was ghosted by a boyfriend of almost 3 years, not at the altar but it still sucks.
He tried to come back after some time by sending an email saying " I realized you're the one", I replied "and I realized you're not."

I am now engaged to a better and more wonderful man. Them getting out of our life is a gift, they allow the right one to come in.

Something like this happened to a gal in my city. The "wedding" was cancelled but she held the reception and invited the homeless to enjoy the food. I think she sold her ring and dress and gave the proceeds to the shelters. The story was carried on our local TV news and newspaper.

This brings back memories of my brothers wedding. His fiancé called off the wedding the night before or the day before that, I forget which. It was way too late to try to cancel or get money back. We went to the reception area and it wound up just being a huge family get together complete with a giant lunch. She contacted him later because she wanted to come by to collect her things. My brother put it all in a box….and shipped it to her. Despite living in the same city. Never responded back to her calls. He went out and met my now SiL. They’ve been married for years now, three kids. I’m so glad he met her she’s the absolute nicest woman.

The groomsmen staying and participating was extra awesome. Blessings to all.

Daddy told me during my divorce, “the best revenge is living well”. 22 years later, my life is still far better than ever before. And he is now known as the town drunk… (okay, I have a little petty left in me, I had to share that tidbit)

Short version-My abusive ex left 10 days before our wedding, it was a mess. I was verbally abused by a lot of his family members, I had to cancel everything. He went with his best friend on our honeymoon. He came back apologizing saying he wasn’t ready to be married but wanted to be with me, blah blah blah, gaslight, gaslight, gaslight. We went to a Christian college, both virgins, our health center gave the engaged girls dilators to help us not be traumatized on our wedding night. The last time we exchanged some of our stuff I made sure to include those and all the many things I had purchased for the honeymoon mixed in with his stuff. It brought me a bit of joy knowing that despite all his begging to take him back he would return home not only disappointed but also find lots of little reminders of what could have been. Hopefully his mommy didn’t help him unload his stuff.

I was ghosted by my husband. I woke up one morning and he was gone. He didn't even file for divorce or anything. I had to track him down 5 states away in order to divorce him. Some people...

Sadly this happened here in Brazil, but with a heartbreaking ending. The groom broke up with the bride 24 hours before the wedding via text message (she suffered from depression and anxiety and tried to killed herself years before, her content was to talk about the struggles of living with those illness). She decided to "marry herself" and broadcast everything. Which a lot of people thought it was an amazing, strong thing to do, but sadly a lot of people started commenting how she just wanted attention and was using the story to get followers, etc. So the next day she through herself of the ninth floor. I wish she knew how amazing and inspiring it was of her to try to have a happy day on celebrating herself despite what she was going through.

"The best revenge is when they see you happy without them" - this quote needs to be internalised by all jilted lovers . Shout out to the videographer who came upon the idea of going ahead with the celebrations . he seems to be our fellow potato . Now time to listen to Lizzo "Good as hell" ( never heard of it before ) .

What a queen 👸!!! I'm sad for her that he got cold feet, but instead of crying, sending everyone home, she chose to enjoy the wedding that her family paid for, and still have a happy time with her loved ones ❤ what a great attitude to have . Get it girl!

That groom was a coward! The fact that he couldn’t even apologize proves it. And she is a badass! Good for her. She dodged a bullet.

I’m proud of her for making her day exactly what she wanted even in the face of heartbreak. I also wanna say that if she had gone home and cried that would have been okay too. I think toxic positivity can tell us from stories like this that the only “right” thing to do is to avoid negative experiences by turning that frown upside down and smiling through it, but toxic positivity isn’t helpful or realistic. I can imagine that when she got home she needed the ice cream and wine even after a wonderful day, and that’s 100% okay. She deserves to grieve her relationship just as much as she deserved to celebrate her commitment to herself. She’s a champ and so are all of you, even if you’re a go home and cry girlie. 💜
