Sore throat is a very common problems and normally it is attributed to tonsillitis, pharyngitis etc. But there are times when there are no infective focus but there is soreness in throat. This can be caused by drying of throat because one is not having fluids. Or when people who have breathing from mouth and not nose, especially those who have sleep apnea. Those who have nasal pathology without any structural changes such as deviated nasal septum, polyps or in young children in case of adenoids will cause soreness of throat.

Gargel warm salt water for 1 week 3 times a day. Don't drink cold water. Keep you mouth warm not cold.

My situation is weird I wake up in the morning my throat doesn’t hurt for like an hour or so but then after it hurts like like 3 hours and then midday it goes away until the next day

My situation is strange.. I wake up and my throat feels dry/irritated. But it feels somewhat better after I have breakfast. Then it feels the same at night. Sometimes I get really sick with my first symptom as a sore throat. 😐

wow, I am an oral breather and always have been. I was born at 26 weeks and had to be in an incubator for quite a while. I never have been able to learn to breathe through my nose. I’ve had a sore throat for WEEKS now, I’ve had a fever on and off and have been super tired/ weak. Got tested for covid 2 times both negative in the last week -2weeks. The doctors KEEP bringing up covid like it’s the only Ilness possible these days. They won’t even test me for anything else it’s always “ these symptoms look like covid to me so we’re going to order a covid test” like dude, it’s not covid but they won’t consider testing for anything else so I’ve just been suffering

I have this discomfort in my throat I have no pain no problem breathing no problem swallowing non I just have this feeling like there is a lump on my throat on the right side it comes and go .. I work long hrs of over night shift which I have never done before I work in a very cold area and the feeling is very annoying I have researched so many thing trying to find wats the problem I don’t kno can any tell me wats goin on with me ..
